Hyde Park Heroes (Sept 2015)
Larger than life but less than colossal. The project, an exploration of Hyde Park's Identity through spontaneous, original street photographs of its residents, draws on Street Art vocabularies to explore the neighborhoods Identity as a collision of its population's forms of community and opposition. It currently consists of 4 separate large scale pieces: a 15'w x 20'h photo mural of local comic book shop owner Jim Nurss, a 15'w x 20'h self portrait, a 40'w x 4'h photo wall of seven seemingly ordinary Hyde Park, Chicago residents and a 12'w x 4'h wheat paste of 4 additional hero Hyde Parkers.
